Charis Charity Organization was founded on a simple conviction — that every elderly person and widow deserves dignity, care, and community, regardless of their circumstances.
Operating across Nigeria and the United Kingdom, we run regular outreach programmes delivering food, medical support, and essential supplies to vulnerable individuals in underserved communities.

Aligning with SDGs 1, 2 & 3, we distributed food supplies and medical aid to 100 elderly men and women in the Zariagi community.
Extended care to over 30 elderly patients aged 50+, providing essential provisions, relief materials and paying medical bills to promote healing and comfort.
Provided aid to over 400 adults and 100 children displaced by devastating floods, restoring dignity and bringing joy during the festive season.
In our founding year, we reached 211 widows in Aiyetoro Gbede, distributing foodstuffs to ease hardship and bringing hope to many forgotten faces.

Sometimes we go beyond our regular programme to answer a unique call. These are the stories that remind us why every act of kindness matters.
When Oluwatobiloba Odetoyinbo chose to celebrate her birthday by giving back, she reached out to Charis Charity Organization with a beautiful request — to visit an orphanage in her honour.
We visited Rehoboth Children's Home in Lokoja, delivering food, supplies and joy to the children there. A profound reminder that birthdays can be moments of giving, not just receiving.

Volunteer's corner
In 2022, I finally got to volunteer through the Make Them Smile initiative. The Lokoja flood outreach was a life changing experience — every act of kindness can leave a lasting impact.
I joined Make Them Smile in 2022, distributing food to flood victims. It was deeply humbling. Volunteering has strengthened my desire to support the less privileged.
Since joining in 2024, my experience has been nothing short of life-changing. Witnessing the immediate joy on beneficiaries faces has been a profound privilege.
In 2022, I joined as a volunteer, feeding widows and supporting flood victims in Lokoja. Seeing their gratitude taught me the true value of compassion and service.
